Thor didn`t sleep well that night. Wild dreams plagued him. He dreamed of a deadly fire that burned through the golden walls of Asgard. He saw men and women carbonized in the flames. He heard mothers screaming for their children, all their laments. There were so many charred bodies, burnt walls. He saw death everywhere, all this destruction by the voracious flames. Relentless, unstoppable, arbitrary flames.
Writhing and sweating the god lay in his bed. But yet at the same moment in his dreams Thor saw a group of strong men warming themselves by a campfire and how these small flames secured their miserable lives from a merciless cold around t
"How is she?" Thor wanted to know when he saw Frigga coming out of the chamber. She had a warm smile on her lips. Thor sighed relief. "So she's fine, right?"
"Yes, of course she is still weak and tired, but otherwise she lacks nothing."
Frigga laid her hand on Thor's shoulder. "We all knew you would make it to bring her back."
Thor nods. "But I never have thought it would be so easy."
"Indeed," Frigga smiled and turned toward the huge terrace. Her footsteps echoed in the high corridors. Thor followed her. "Well," he began. "It seemed as if something led me directly to her. I know it sounds strange, but I had no choice but to get to her. "

Was not that the deal?" snorted Loki. "I obey, and you let her go?"
Angrboda lips formed into a wide grin. "I can not remember to have signed such a pact with you, dear. I just gave you only a more solid reason for you to return than your word, which you once gave me. "
Loki swallowed.
"But that I will let her free... I never mentioned," the giantess said delighted.
In the first moment the God was ossified by what he has heard, but he was quickly caught again and remembered his rhetoric art. With his head raised, he walked up to Angrboda, hiding his fear when he sat down beside her and looked at her with wide eyes.
"You want her to be your p
Sigyn felt a cold breeze on her face. Her fingers touched the beet sheet on which she sat. It was cold. No one had been slept there in the last hours. Sigyn knew that she was no longer in the hut. She felt that the world around her was a different one and that it was not a good one. The young woman stood up, with tottering steps, she explored her new surroundings. The walls were made of bare stone, wet and humid. The room was not large, and it seemed to contain no furniture, except the little bed she had been sitting on it. On one side of the wall she sensed a small window. Cold wind blew in her face. Sigyn's hands were resting on the window
Loki was shocked when he saw icy clouds in front of his mouth. He felt an icy, well known shiver ran down his spine.
"It has been a while," he heard a voice behind him. He hardly dared to turn to her.
"Angrboda" gasped the God. "How unexpectedly to meet you here on Midgard."
The giant grinned. Her big red eyes fxed him and her long black hair blowed in the wind while she slowly went to Loki. Her skin was pale, so pale that you could see her veins through it, which gave her body a bluish sheen. Coldness enveloped her.
"Did you really think, I wouldn`t be able to find you, Loki," she said with a smile on her blood-red lips. "I told you that I w
It was already day as Loki awoke. But he did not want to get up. Sigyn still nestled in a deep sleep up to him. He felt her soft, gentle breath in his neck, a firm grip on his hips and her legs clasped his. But he had an uncontrollable desire to see her face. Carefully he tried to turn arround without disturbing her sleep.
Her face was like of a porcelain doll. So graceful, yet fragile. Gently he stroked her through her curly hair. The god gave her a kiss on the forehead. He wished he was just able to watch her forever, but he could not. Just as he had tasted her skin on his lips, his desire grew to more. Immediately he gave her a kiss on her
Sigyn`s fingers twitched nervously. She saw how the flames in front of her became smaller and smaller. The fire needed food, otherwise it would be go out soon. The young woman waited. Usually he would come now and light the fire in the fireplace again. Every time Sigyn rejoiced when she saw the flames flame up again. The crackling flattered around her ears, it was the only sound she could hear.
Sigyn felt anxiety rising in herself. Where was he? This morning he still had served her a bowl of corn and bread, but now he seemed to have disappeared.
So she thought at least. Loki was actually only a few meters away from her, panting and gasping on
Sigyn loved the fire.
She sat in front of the fireplace. While sitting there she felt so much more than just the heat of the flames. Her hands played with the sparks that leapt about, but they never burned her.
Fire had always a special meaning for the blind woman, because it was the only thing her eyes could see. Even if the whole world around her was hidden in the depths of darkness, for some reason it didn`t count for the golden flames. She loved to watch them dancing. Sometimes it felt like they were dancing just for her.
Since their birth Sigyn was blind and deaf, she had never seen her mother, never the sun nor the moon, but she saw he
Loki was cooking the fish, when Sigyn awoke from their sleep. It was already daylight and God looked to her. She sat up in bed apathetic and motionless. Loki took the pan and put it on the table, in the middle of the room. The cabin was warm and a fire was crackling in the fireplace.
Loki walked to the bed and nudged the young woman gently against her arm. Her shoulders shuddered and her head persisted in a slanting position. The god took her hands and pulled her into the air as a request that she should follow him. First Sigyn refused, but the smell of freshly cooked food made her to move finally. She had to admit that she was indeed sufferi
